The Golf Course

Our course has some of the best views to enjoy during your round of golf of the surrounding Somerset countryside. The panoramic view of the Somerset levels from our 11th and 12th greens will make a long lasting impression.

The 18 hole, par 70 course is 6000 yards in two nine hole loops both of which start and finish at our comfortable Clubhouse.

Course Map

The front nine offers one par 5, five par 4’s and three par 3’s to test your abilities whilst our back 9 has our version of “amen corner” in three long par 5’s one after the other, and a tricky par 3 over water.

Placement is the key when playing Wedmore as a misplaced tee shot can be the difference between a good or bad hole. However, our course is fairly set so that both experienced and less experienced players will enjoy their visit and game.

The Owners have invested a large amount of money to ensure that the course is in excellent condition in all Seasons, our course is rarely closed during the winter months and our temporary greens are used only occasionally.
